South Grove Township is dedicated to maintaining approximately 39 miles of rural roads to ensure safe and efficient travel for all residents. Our team works diligently to provide regular maintenance and timely repairs, keeping our roads in excellent condition.
The Township's low-income relief program is called General Assistance. General Assistance provides ongoing financial support to those experiencing hardship, so long as they continue to be eligible. The Township also has an Emergency Assistance Program which provides short-term relief to qualifying individuals who do not meet the eligibility criteria for General Assistance. South Grove Township resident Seniors who are 65 years of age or older and have a utility bill in their name that is in a past-due, disconnect, or shut-off status may be eligible for assistance.
